NCC Announcement for Haitian Students

Class was cancelled Monday Feb. 8 because I was not feeling well and stayed home sick.

The FaceBook page for the class has been set up. It is ENG001MA.

Pearson Writing Rewards Essay Contest - The Pearson textbook publishing company is running an essay contest with cash prizes. It is open to all pre-composition students, so everyone in this class is eligible to enter. The deadline is May 31, 2010. First prize is $750. Contestants must write on one of their assigned topics. One of those topics is also a possible topic for the exit exam.

You do not have to enter the essay contest; it is optional. It is linked here so you will have the information.
